3. Coop-Ready Pullets
Coop-Ready pullets are young female hens between 6-12 weeks old. We offer a selection of hand-selected breeds that will make great additions to a backyard flock.
All our pullets have been started on high quality, organic chick starter and are ready to transition to grower feed until reaching 6 months of age (when they will begin to lay and require a layer feed).
NOTE: If you are adding to an existing flock, we recommend a minimum of 3 pullets per order in order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your new birds as they integrate to an existing flock hierarchy.
If starting a new flock, 4-6 birds makes an ideal flock size for most backyard setups.
